Recognition Opportunities
Award winner names will be announced via ON DPG e-blast, social media posts, and will be listed on the ON DPG website.
FNCE® 2022 – October 8th – 11th 2022, Orlando, FL
If you have a completed abstract, all Award Grantees (Undergraduate, Graduate, Clinician and Post-Doctorate) are encouraged to submit an abstract to present a poster session at FNCE® 2022. Submission guidelines can be found here.
Clinician Research and Post-Doctorate Grantees are invited to present a research poster outlining the study progress and results at an ON DPG event during FNCE® 2022 in Orlando, FL. Grantees may also be invited to provide a short oral presentation on research findings. Event date and time to be announced. Expenses are not covered by ON DPG, but the award does allow for up to $500 of funds to be used for oncology and nutrition related travel expenses.
Oncology Nutrition Symposium, June 10th – 12th 2022, Rosemont, IL
All Award Grantees (Undergraduate, Graduate, Clinician and Post-Doctorate) not presenting at FNCE® 2022 are invited to provide a brief oral presentation on research findings at the Oncology Nutrition Symposium in Rosemont, IL. Expenses are not covered by ON DPG, but the awards do allow for partial amount of funds to be used for oncology and nutrition related travel expenses as follows:
- Undergraduate Research Award: up to $250
- Graduate Research Award: up to $250
- Clinician Research Award: up to $500
- Post-Doctorate Research Award: up to $500
ON DPG Oncology Nutrition Connection Newsletter
Grantees are encouraged to publish results in the Oncology Nutrition Connection or a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Mentoring may be available for first-time publishers.
Please note: If award grantees wish to submit their completed abstracts for a poster session at a future FNCE® conference, you must adhere to the following FNCE guidelines:
Abstracts must be original material and may not have been previously published, printed or presented before the 2022 FNCE®. Abstracts found to have been printed, published or presented prior to an annual FNCE® conference will be disqualified from presentation at FNCE®.
