This platform is where members can go to post information, connect with other members, and ask for/share expertise. All ON DPG members can continue sharing expertise and resources through email or through our website. You are automatically subscribed to a daily digest of ON DPG Discussion Board messages, but can choose to change your email preferences at any time.

Instructions to Post a Message

  1. Click "Post New Message".
  2. Add a Subject and your discussion content.

OR

Email the following address directly to post to the discussion board: THEACADEMY-ONDPG@ConnectedCommunity.org.

The subject line of the email will become the subject line of the thread. 

Instructions to Reply to a Message

  1. If you are replying while logged in to the ON DPG website, click "Reply to Discussion" to send your message to the entire community or "Reply to Sender" to reply privately to the original sender; both links are, located in the gray column at the right. (We recommend replying to the sender for simple comments that add little value to the overall discussion; and replying to the entire community when you are sharing knowledge, experience or resources that others could benefit from.)
  2. You can also reply from your email account by replying directly from the email notification you receive without having to log in to the community website. Simply click on the "Reply to Discussion" link in the column at the right and type in your message.

How do I change my email settings?

  1. Go to your ON DPG Profile.
  2. Select Community Notifications under "My Account".
  3. Change your discussion board preferences:
    • Real Time: Receive a nearly instantaneous email each time someone posts a new discussion or a reply in this community. 
    • Daily Digest: Receive a single email compiling all of the ON DPG discussion posts from the previous day.
      • This is the default setting configured for ON DPG members.
    • No Email: Opt out of the ON DPG discussion board emails.
  4. Change your email address:
    • Under “Discussion Email:” click ‘add override addresses.’
    • Enter the email where you would like your discussion boards to be sent.
    • Select the correct discussion board.
    • Click ‘Save.’
