The ON DPG is proud to announce the following candidates for ON DPG Treasurer.
Nicole Franklin MS, RDN, LDN, CSO
Over the past 3 years, I have learned more about oncology nutrition than I could have imagined. As I recall back to when I began my career, I remember how much the Oncology Nutrition DPG offered me. Resources, webinars, forums, and mentorship programs were all a short keystroke away. I desire to give back to the organization that has provided so much to me and I feel this position is a good place to start. Yes, I am young and still learning, but I have ambition and determination. Born and raised in Asheville, NC, I enjoy exercising, cooking and spending time with family. Thank you for taking me into consideration for this position.
Francesca Maglione RDN, CSO, CDN
Francesca is an outpatient oncology dietitian at New York-Presbyterian. She is passionate about working with patients as part of an inter-professional health care team. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Health. She loves music, reading, biking and many other outdoor activities. She describes herself as being an excellent verbal communicator, enthusiastic, and able to manage budgets.
Rayna McCann MS, RDN, CSO, CDN
Rayna McCann is an accomplished RDN with a strong background in clinical nutrition, especially oncology nutrition. Rayna received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Services at Pennsylvania State University. This was followed by a Master’s of Science in Nutrition at Stony Brook University. Rayna became a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition in 2020 to help provide excellent care to her patients. While she is dedicated to relaying evidence based nutrition to her patients/clients, Rayna is skilled at personalizing her advice. She has received awards throughout her career recognizing her dedication to patient safety, as well as, her contributions to improving malnutrition awareness.
