Denise Snyder

Denise Snyder PicDenise began doing research as an undergraduate and graduate student at Penn State University. After relocating to North Carolina in 1997, she worked in public health and clinical nutrition. She returned to research work at Duke as a project manager in 2000. In addition to her administrative research efforts at the Duke University School of Nursing, she has managed six NIH/NCI-funded protocols involving an array of nutrition/exercise interventions with breast, prostate and colorectal cancer survivors in her position as a clinical trials manager. She has co-authored more than 20 publications and presented at national conferences. She is a Certified Board Specialist in Oncology Nutrition and the website administrator for the American Dietetic Association’s (ADA) Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. Finally, she participated as a workgroup member to establish oncology nutrition guidelines for ADA’s Evidence Analysis Library (EAL).
